Mort
After my slight disappointment with Equal Rites, I was a little apprehensive about starting on Mort, but found it managed to deliver the break in tone and setting that the previous book could not. The characters, as usual, were brilliant; with Death and the other three horsemen of the apocalypse being particular favourites. The only thing that let the book down, I felt, was the plot getting a little lost towards the middle again but, aside from that, it was another good read.
