Reaper Man
Starts out with Pratchett at his absolute best, with a somewhat more subtle, observation based approach to humour. Sadly, it is not to last and the Wizards of Unseen University soon take over.

Fewer moments of brilliance than the previous Discworld books, but no loss of direction part way through. Consistently funny and enjoyable from the beginning right the way through until the grand finale.
Shorter than other Discworld books, but all the better for it as the usual Pratchett formula is condensed, not reduced. Probably my favourite wizards book so far.
Another brilliant entry in the series. The swamp dragons are perhaps my new favourite fantasy creature.
A pitch-perfect satire on the themes of Ancient Egypt. No the strongest Discworld book in terms of plot, but definitely the funniest so far.
Fantastic characters and a genuinely different setting make this the best Discworld book so far. Highly recommend.
The weakest novel in the series so far. Not a terrible read, but feels like it constitutes mainly of recycled jokes from the first few books.
Manages to deliver the break in tone and setting that Equal Rites could not and has some excellent characters.
Another solid entry in the series, though it did tail off a little towards the end.
More insane comic fantasy. Very, very, fun.
